Tidewater Physicians Management GroupTPMG is located in a 34,000 sq. ft. office building that was undergoing a complete remodification. Because it was an existing operation, meeting the deadline for their re-opening was critical. Due to LHM's dedication to excellent service and association with the industry's leading product lines, LHM has become the primary HVAC contractor for all 45 Applebee's location throughout the state of Virginia.
Hurricane IsabelleIn September 2003, Hurricane Isabelle roared through Hampton Roads, VA causing extensive flood and wind damage to residential and commercial buildings throughout the region. The storm also put a severe strain on repair service companies throughout the area to keep up with the overwhelming number of critical responses. Literally thousands of homes and businesses were without basic heat and electricity for some time after the storm passed. Despite the disaster, getting our customers back to conducting everyday business operations and home livability was critical before the coming winter. LHM serviced 135 homes alone needing complete replacement of their HVAC systems flooded by the storm before the cold weather turned for the worse.
Municipal Building Air Quality ProjectLHM has performed numerous air quality services for public and private buildings throughout the region. Generally, this consists of total air duct and coil sanitization procedures. Mold and mildew in the ducts of older buildings has been proven to cause severe health concerns for some some individuals with certain allergies. These conditions could also affect the building's population, as a whole, over long periods of time opening up the issues of frequent missed work, at a minimum, to lawsuits from employees if not addressed. LHM serviced a 60,000 sq. ft. municipal building that
realized they had a critical mold and mildew problem that required
immediate attention. LHM worked around-the-clock to meet the clients
requirement of having the entire system sanitized within 48 hours.
